Nickel West forms a key component of BHP Billiton’s Stainless Steel Materials Customer Sector Group and is one of the world’s largest producers of nickel. We have an integrated nickel mining, concentrating, smelting and refining business in the central and northern goldfields and Perth metropolitan area in Western Australia.

Nickel West is seeking expressions of interest for a number of apprenticeship roles in the following disciplines:
• Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitting • Instrument / Electrical
• Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic • Metal Fabrication
• Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Auto Electrical
All roles will commence in early 2012 and are located in various locations across the business.
Fly In Fly Out operations located in the Northern Goldfields at:
• Mt Keith (Open Cut Mining and Processing)
• Leinster (Underground Mining and Processing)
Residential operations in:
• Kalgoorlie (Smelter) • Kwinana (Refinery)
