WorkSafe WA has undertaken a project to update the SmartMove website – with the aim of provided a more comprehensive, practical and engaging suite of resources for schools and students involved in work based programs.

The new materials available will be aligned with BSBOHS201A and WACE courses such as Career and Enterprise and Workplace Learning.

WorkSafe are seeking feedback in two forms – depending on the level of involvement you are able to offer.

1. A short 3 minute survey for staff, students and industry reps (spread the word – share the link)
2. SmartMove Project Schools (details below)

Interested in participating as a SmartMove Project School?

First of all you need to complete the survey. Then get in touch with SmartMove to register an expression of interest via email.

Once the project commences your school will be asked to appoint a project coordinator (for up to three teaching days during term four). Your school will be asked to assist with the review of the website, trialling online units with two classes, participate in moderation, recommend resources and contacts as appropriate and provide feedback along the way. The project ends 28th Feb 2013 and only runs during the school terms.

For further information and contact details download the project overview or get in touch with your ETI team.
