Today is R U OK? Day.

Started in 2009, R U OK? Day aims to inspire all Australians to take responsibility for people in their lives who may be struggling and need an opportunity to say ‘I’m not ok’.

Millions of people asked the question last year – take part this year in as little time as it takes to have your coffee. Just by starting a simple conversation you could change a life.

  1. Ask R U OK?
  2. Listen without judgement
  3. Encourage action
  4. Follow up

I encourage everyone to get involved. Visit the website, check out the resources below, spread the word.

A raft of resources are available on the website – www.ruokday.com with portals for the following key areas:

R U OK? at Work
R U OK? at School
R U OK?  Afield
R U OK?  in Sport
R U OK? Communities
